Of course you don’t have to stick to the sample guides, you can vary the exercises to suit your needs.

A journal is provided in the 7 minute muscle guide to help you keep a track of your progress. You can use it to record the number of reps you have achieved and also which part of the body you have worked on.

Yes pictures are provided in the guide,  but you really need to see the exercises performed live to fully understand how to do them.

If you buy the manual via the 7 minute muscle site the videos come included. But if you bought the guide via the 7 minute diet site, then be prepared to fork out another $20 bucks for the videos.

The videos are a great help. They clarify what you learn from the guide.  You get to see Vince Del Monte (another body building guru) who personally goes through and explains the exercises with you. Actual guests help demonstrate the exercises.

After you see the videos you will better understand the 7 minute muscle system and you’ll be ready to  do the workout yourself.

Sit ups won’t help you lose your belly

Hey All,

Here’s a quick tip for you. There is a common misconception that doing sit ups or crunches or whatever you want to call them, will help you lose your belly.

Don’t get me wrong. Sit ups will help strengthen your abs, but just doing sit ups alone won’t lose your belly fat.

To lose your belly fat you need to do a full body workout!

I suggest you start with running. Do some laps around your local park, or if you can afford it,  jump on a treadmill at the gym.

Doing laps at the park will be hard especially if you have never done it before. I suggest you work on little sections at a time.

For example work on reaching that “Tree” first. Once you get to that tree make a second target, get to that “bench” and so on.

Make sure you set a goal of how many laps you want to do. So that the next time you go to the park you know how well you are progressing.

Never Give Up!

Hi All,

Never give up! Yes, that’s right. Whatever you do NEVER GIVE UP.

You may be closer than you think to achieving your goals. Let me give you an example.

So I was at football training last week. We went on a 4 km run. After the run I was seriously stuffed.

Then the coach made us RUN AGAIN! Short 20 meter sprints now. I was seriously, seriously gone at this stage.

All I could think about was that’s it, I QUIT, my body can’t do this. This is my last training session with this team. I’m just gonna throw in the towel and go back to playing with my old team next week (a lot less easier there).

At the end of the session I asked one of my teammates > “Mate, do you guys always train like this?” He said they only do it during the pre-season so that everyone gets fit before the competition starts.

I felt relieved, and all of a sudden I felt I could do this. It was my first 4 km run ever so I should’nt be so hard on myself. Surely after a few runs I’d get better at it.

Next training session, one of the coaches asked me how I was going. I told him I knew I had to get fitter. He said that’s why we do all the hard work during pre-season and told me to back myself at this level.

Wow! The coach believed in me. Which in turn made me believe in myself!

I’m glad I didn’t quit. I will keep going until I achieve my goal which is the make the squad!

Here’s another story I want to share with you

There’s this guy I see at the park every week without fail, doing laps around the park.

The guy is obviously overweight. But he keeps going. He keeps running and doing the laps at his own pace.

You can see the steel of determination in his eyes. I ain’t going home until I do my 3 laps around the park.

Look, he may have lost a lot of weight already. And I’m sure if he keeps going he will achieve his goals.

His got discpline, that’s for sure. It’s little things like this that inspire me to keep going too.

Sorry, I probably sound all over the place in this post but this is my message:

Hello All!

Wow! Week 2 of doing the 7 minute diet and 7 minute muscle programs has already past and what a week it was too!

Well, let me tell you it was one freakin hard week of training! Kelli my personal 7 minute diet coach was reminding me each day to keep applying the fat burning switches. It’s obviously good to get a friendly reminder each day.

It helps keep you on your toes and the more reminders you get the more you remember what to do, so it becomes a good habit.

What did I get up to this week?

Well besides from my normal 7 minute muscle routine, I started football training this week. This season I am moving up a division, so I am really motivated to make the squad.

Let me tell you the training in the 1st division squad is INTENSE to say the least. I really had to push myself beyond what I’m physcially used to in the past.

But you know what, do you know what I realised? I realised that when in a team environment you really push yourself.

For example I was really struggling to complete a sprinting exercise that we were doing, but my mate told me to “keep going”. You see it’s that kind of encouragement that really helps. So, my instinct was to “keep going”.

I pushed myself to complete the exercise and I did. But without that encouragement I would have gave up for sure.

So this is my suggestion

I suggest you join a team or get a friend or a group of friends to train with you. Seriously if you train with a bunch of people you push each other to the the limits. You end up achieving things that you would’nt have on your own.

Still absolutely loving this program. My biceps are getting stronger. I feel stronger and managed to do more reps this week. I nearly skipped Friday because I was so buggered from football training on Thursday night.

But I managed to get my ass out of bed and did my 7 minute routine. I really felt good that I still managed to do my Friday routine instead of skipping it.

You see, after you develop the good habit of daily exercising you actually feel GUILTY for not doing it. I’m actually going to go for a run this afternoon on my Rest Day!

Week 1 of the 7 minute system

Hi all,

Just wanted to let you know the results after one week of using the 7 minute diet and 7 minute muscle systems.

First of it’s been a great week. I can’t tell you how awesome I feel after just 1 week of practicising both systems.

What you need to succeed

One of the first things you learn after doing the system is that you must be disciplined and organised. I would say that those 2 things are the key to your success. Actually there’s one more thing, motivation.

You need to know why you are doing all this. Without motivation it’s gonna be hard. My motivation is to lose a few kilos, get a flat stomach and to get fit so that I can play football.

For example, with the 7 minute diet system you have to make sure that you have all the supplements and vitamins ready before hand. With the 7 minute muscle system you have to be disciplined to do the exercises. So make sure you use the checklists provided in the program.

Personally, I bought myself a diary and created a timetable for the week so that I knew what I needed to do.

I chose to do my 7 minutes of exercise in the morning. This means that I have to wake up every morning at 6 am before I go to work. Therefore this means that I must also sleep early the night before. You must get enough sleep if you want to lose weight.

And yes there were days that I thought bugger it I’ll have a rest day, but then I remembered what my motives where and did my 7 minutes of exercise. It gets easier as your body gets stronger too.

Support and coaching

The great thing about the 7 minute diet program is that you get good support.  My coach Kelli has been in contact every day reminding and motivating me to take my fat burning switches.

The feeling after one week

So after following the 7 minute diet and 7 minute muscle system for just one week how do I feel? Awesome! I mean mentally I feel great. I know I’ve done the work. I feel healthy and my biceps even after just one week are noticeably stronger. Your body feels more toned. Even my wife noticed!

Did I lose any weight after one week? I lost one kilo! (10 pounds!) Not bad for one weeks work considering all the junk I was eating before and lack of exercise too. And If you work harder than me I’m sure you can do it too and lose even more weight than me!

The best thing about the system is that it only takes 7 minutes a day.
